Windybank's Fishing Club

Your local fishing club

Family-friendly fishing on the Hawkesbury, Pittwater and Broken Bay, with weekends away, competitions and a social meeting every month.

About

Windybanks Fishing Club is based in the Hornsby Shire. Our local grounds are the Hawkesbury River and its tributaries, Pittwater and Broken Bay. We like to share what we know, from rigs and baits to where the fish are biting, and we encourage sustainable, catch-and-release fishing so there are fish for the next generation.

Monthly social meetings

First Wednesday of the month at Asquith Bowling Club. Guest speakers, fishing reports and a raffle.

Friendly comps

Catch-and-release competitions for seniors and juniors, scheduled around social events.

Local boat days

Days on the water around the Hawkesbury, Pittwater and Broken Bay, with spare seats for members without a boat.

Community events

Gone Fishing Day at Bobbin Head and charity fishing days that give something back.

Come along to a social meeting

The easiest way to join is to turn up. We meet on the first Wednesday of every month except January at Asquith Bowling Club. Say hello, hear what is coming up, and see if Windybanks is the club for you.
